The helper checks availability when this page opens and periodically afterward, sending connection information to this site’s service. Sending a message sends your question to that service. Talk searches also send your question and matching public titles/descriptions to a third-party AI service for processing in the United States. Chapter guidance can include up to two prior reference IDs. When contextual book guidance is enabled, up to four recent messages and already shown book references are sent to this site’s service to retain context and avoid repetition. Reviewed book replies do not use AI; talk-search model requests include the current question and matching public metadata, not earlier conversation messages. The chat panel explains the current mode before you send. It searches episode metadata, not transcripts, and uses limited original book notes and official references, not a full-text book corpus or verified passage quotations. Avoid personal, health or recovery details.
The application does not save conversation text. The conversation stays in this tab until reload. A pseudonymous network-derived identifier supports abuse limits; it is not a promise of anonymity. Request-ID records expire after seven days, rate-limit records after two days, and monthly usage counters after 100 days. Database expiry deletion can take longer. Operational error logs have seven-day retention. Optional provider request/response content logging was disabled at the November 6, 2026 review. Hosting and AI service providers still process data under their own practices; this is not a promise of zero provider retention.
